Kenneth Moskowitz, Ph.D., L.C.S.W., C.A.P. is a licensed mental health professional with over 30 years of experience assisting individuals in making positive life changes. Dr. Moskowitz earned his doctoral degree from Westbrook University in Addictions Counseling. He is also a licensed clinical social worker as well as a certified addictions professional.

Dr. Moskowitz specializes in the treatment of a variety of addictions. Understanding the social stigma associated with substance abuse, Dr. Moskowitz believes in protecting the privacy and confidentiality of those seeking treatment. Through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) patients are taught to understand the important role of thinking in how we feel and what we do. CBT is a focused approach to treatment that attempts to help patients recognize situations in which they are most likely to use drugs (or other substances or engage in other addictive behavior), avoid such situations when appropriate, and learn how to cope more effectively with a range of problems (and problematic behaviors) associated with substance abuse.

Dr. Moskowitz is a Florida certified supervisor and provides clinical supervision and consultations to other mental health professionals including clinical social workers, mental health counselors and marriage and family therapists.
